EcoGuard joins Fidelix Group and creates Nordic market leader in making buildings smart

Fidelix Holding Oy has on April 2nd entered into an agreement to acquire EcoGuard AB, the market leading Swedish provider of cloud-based software, sensor products and innovative solutions for residential building owners.

EcoGuard’s turn-key solutions enable temperature metering and billing of water and electricity based on individual consumption, powered by CURVES – a powerful data analysis and visualization platform. The platform enables facility owners to analyze, visualize, optimize and bill energy based on actual usage. Consumption of electricity and water can be analyzed by both facility owners and individual residents.

“EcoGuard has an impressive track record in solving residential building owners’ challenges in a wide perspective. The feedback we got from EcoGuard’s customers was excellent – without exceptions. That is the best evidence of the superb work the whole team has done since 2004.” says Tero Kosunen, CEO Fidelix.

“We are so happy to get this opportunity to be part of the Fidelix Group. We believe that Fidelix is an ideal partner to support our growth plan in Sweden and we see also an attractive opportunity to extend our offering to residential building owners in Finland and other new markets. We will be even stronger together in digitalization of buildings in the Nordics.” says Björn Fagerdahl, CEO EcoGuard.

EcoGuard has today a turnover of 100 MSEK and about 50 employees. The acquisition has no impact on the employees of EcoGuard or Fidelix.

The pro forma net sales of Fidelix group is now over 40 MEUR and the group employs 280 people.
