Procuritas presents its Sustainability Report for 2022
In the last few years, Procuritas has actively increased its ESG-focus. Today, we present our 2022 Sustainability Report, new for this year is the mapping of total greenhouse gas emissions from all our portfolio companies.
As an owner, the best way we can make a difference is through the companies in our funds. Our purpose is to build thriving and sustainable businesses. The Sustainability Report gives a clear overview of the ongoing work, internally and externally, as well as showing how far we’ve come on our journey.
“Making meaningful impact is a long process. Our job is to be an active partner, helping our portfolio companies in the transition towards greater sustainability and long-term success.“, says Johan Conradsson, Co-Managing Partner, Procuritas.
A clear improvement in Procuritas’ 2022 Sustainability Report is the inclusion of CO2-data, showing the importance of data gathering and transparency.
“Data quality is an issue we need to continue to work on, we also need to increase the number of portfolio companies that create their own Sustainability reports. It is crucial for us to be transparent about challenges and achievements and the reports are an important contribution to that .” says Linda Leifsdotter, Head of ESG at Procuritas.
Over the next 12 months, one of Procuritas’ main objectives will be to set goals and develop action plans within our focus areas; Good governance, An attractive workplace, and A planet in balance.
“It’s important that we are ambitious in our goals and that we lead by example. We need to make a difference and I believe it’s better to set goals that we need to work hard to reach, than setting goals that are easy to meet”, says Linda Leifsdotter, Head of ESG at Procuritas.
ESG highlights of the year include:
- Raising a new fund, achieving the Article 8 classification
- Completed materiality analysis for Procuritas
- Created a tool for portfolio companies for materiality analysis
- Whistle-Blower function now implemented in 93 percent of our companies
- Anti-bribery and Anti-corruption policy in 73 percent of our companies
