Leif Gustafsson joins the PropTech Group with the aim of building a market leader within energy efficiency and property services

Leif Gustafsson joins PropTech as chairman of the board – with ambitions for the group to grow in the Nordics. PropTech is a one-stop shop for indoor climate, energy efficiency and other property services, and was acquired by Procuritas in the summer of 2023. PropTech Group aims to grow its business organically and through strategic M&A-activities in the Nordic countries.

“I’m very excited to join PropTech, with its strong brands and successful companies Ömangruppen and Axcell Fastighetspartner. As energy efficiency and better property management is crucial for a more sustainable way of living and working, I believe we are well placed to make a real difference. Together with the management team, I look forward to finding new possibilities and partners in the Nordic property services sector going forward”, says Leif Gustafsson.

Leif Gustafsson’s former roles include President and CEO Cramo Group, CEO Stena Recycling and CEO YIT Sverige AB (today Caverion).

Procuritas has a proven track record from transformative growth journeys in fragmented industries. The fact that properties account for a staggering 40% of Sweden’s energy consumption, and new EU taxonomy regulations are set to impose heightened energy-saving requirements for property owners, will open up for business opportunities in the sector. “It’s easy to recognize the immense potential for growth and impact in this sector, particularly in the context of the ongoing climate transition. We are thrilled to welcome Leif Gustafsson to the PropTech team and believe his experience from adjacent services industries and vision for the future align with our mission to lead the way in sustainable property solutions. PropTech is poised to accelerate its journey towards shaping a more energy-efficient, environmentally responsible, and customer-focused real estate sector in the Nordics”, says Mattias Feiff, Co-Managing Partner at Procuritas.
