Nordic Biomarker appoints Jonas Wahlqvist as new CEO
Nordic Biomarker, a leading Swedish manufacturer of advanced reagents for coagulation diagnostics, has announced the appointment of Jonas Wahlqvist as new CEO, effective 1 June. Jonas succeeds Rikard Rodén, who has led the company since 2016 and will remain with Nordic Biomarker during a handover period.
Jonas Wahlqvist joined Nordic Biomarker as Sales and Marketing Director in January 2024 and has over the past two years played a central role in the company’s commercial efforts and accelerating international expansion. He brings broad strategic experience from McKinsey & Company, alongside a strong track record of leadership and entrepreneurial roles within digital and technology enabled businesses.
