New owners of Sonans Group

The British company EMK Capital acquires the Sonans Group. EMK has long international experience with education and career training.

“EMK is a solid and professional owner with ambitions to develop Sonans as one of the leading players of the private education market in Norway,” said Erik Brandt, CEO of the Sonans Group. “Our goal is to deliver solid results to our students and collaborators.”

EMK’s ambition with Sonans is to continue delivering high quality education in Norway. “Together with the management team in Sonans we aim to strengthen our focus on education and career training in Norway,” said Patrik Johnson, partner in EMK.

The former owners of Sonans, Procuritas, are looking forward to following Sonans from the sideline. “During our time as owners of Sonans, the development has been outstanding thanks to the employees and the management team. As the time has come to change ownership, we are happy that EMK, with their extensive experience with education, are the ones taking over,” Erik Fougner, partner in Procuritas finishes.
