Pierre Nyström joins PropTech Energy as Group CEO

PropTech Energy is a one-stop shop for indoor climate, energy efficiency and other property services, consisting of Ömangruppen, Axcell Fastighetspartner and P2 Energi. The company is currently on a growth journey both organically and through strategic M&A-activities in the Nordics. Today, we are pleased to announce that Pierre Nyström joins PropTech Energy as Group CEO. Former CEO, Nina Bremer, remains with the company in a new COO role.

With a rich experience from the energy efficiency sector, Pierre Nyström joins PropTech Energy. He most recently held the position of CEO of Heatex Group, a global manufacturer of air-to-air heat exchangers for energy recovery.

“We are thrilled to welcome Pierre Nyström to PropTech Energy. With extensive industry experience and a track-record of growing companies fast, we believe that Pierre will be instrumental in taking PropTech forward and becoming the clear niche leader in Sweden and beyond. With this we are further strengthening the organization to enable the company to take a leading role in developing the industry” says Mattias Feiff, co-managing partner at Procuritas.

Since Real Estate accounts for 40% of Sweden’s energy consumption, and new EU taxonomy regulations are set to impose heightened energy-saving requirements for property owners, there will be many business opportunities in the sector. Currently, Proptech Energy has around 400 employees across Sweden.

“I am excited to join PropTech Energy. The indoor climate and energy efficiency sector is not only relevant today but is poised for significant growth due to both cost and sustainability considerations. I am particularly drawn to providing Swedish and Nordic real estate owners with an improved value proposition to reduce costs, improve indoor climate, and proactively comply with regulations. The industry is currently fragmented so there is great potential for both organic growth and strategic M&A across the Nordic countries.”, says Pierre Nyström, Group CEO, PropTech Energy
