Werksta completes three add-on acquisitions

Procuritas is pleased to announce that its portfolio company Werksta, the leading car damage repair chain in the Nordics, has completed three add-on acquisitions, adding Alppilan Autohuolto Oy in Finland, Skadeverkstad Uppsala Östra AB in Sweden and Follo Bilskade AS in Norway into the group.

Werksta was formed in 2015 through Procuritas’ investment in two individual body shops with a combined revenue of €12 million, which has grown into a Nordic €150 million revenue business with over 900 employees.

Catherine Sahlgren, CEO of Werksta, commented: “We are delighted to expand our operations with these latest acquisitions that strengthen our position as the leading independent Nordic car damage repair chain. We aim to continue our growth journey over the coming years via both acquisitions and greenfield developments.”

Jussi Holopainen, Director at Procuritas, commented: “Werksta’s growth strategy including both acquisitions and organic greenfield developments has been a success story since the company was founded in 2015. The latest acquisitions improve both our abilities to work closer to several leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) but at the same time to better serve insurance companies and their customers across the Nordics.” Procuritas has a strong track record over many years of investing in companies that have the potential to undergo transformational growth, in this instance through a buy-and-build strategy to facilitate accelerated development and multi-regional expansion of the group.
